Wanted to try writing a new series called Save Your Money with ideas and articles about ways that you can save money. Life is rough right now, especially financially, so I want to help people in the best way I can and that is to provide a place where you can find ways to Save Your Money.
Today's article is a good one if you don't mind getting your hands a little dirty. Lifehacker (a great site by the way) has put together a collection of information on doing your own car maintenance. Now obviously you would need to have the time and location to do this kind of work. The article contains tech and tools that will help you along the way. Things like battery changes, replacing brake pads, and regular maintenance (things like oil changes and air filter changes). Each comes with links and even a glossary of sorts so you know what the articles are talking about.
Check it out here and save yourself some money.
